To jump start our blog, we want to share our Saturday trip to the Friday Market in Fujairah, UAE before we catch with all the events we covered the past months.
Our itching fingers wanted to shoot something fresh and vibrant and the first place which came to our mind was the Friday Market. Plus the long drive made us feel we were on really on an Eid holiday. A donut and a cup of hot chocolate for take away and then we were on our way!
The Friday Market is located between the rocky ridges on the way to Fujairah. It is about an hour drive from Dubai, just follow the signs leading to the Eastern Region and then you’re there!
From fruits, handmade clay jars, rugs, carpets, textiles, toys to living plants, you would find a wide variety of trinkets and things at a very cheap price! Here are some images we clicked during our stroll in the market.
These are the darn sweet mangoes that are just sooo delicious! (at 10aed/kg)
The potted trees they sell actually bear fruits!
